About Me

Danielle is a filmmaker and animator based between New York and Kingston, Jamaica.
She received her Bachelor in Fine Arts from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. And in 2022, she received the esteemed Fulbright Research-Arts Grant, which allowed her to pursue a historical-nonfiction screenwriting project in Jamaica.

Her versatile career includes projects for New York University’s Public Affairs Office, US National Science Foundation-funded research, and “Television Jamaica,” the country’s largest major television station.  In 2022, she wrote and directed her debut short film “Standout,” which garnered attention at both local and national festivals.

As an artist, Danielle seeks to explore diverse mediums and subjects.
Through her work, she aims to contribute to the movement of filmmakers using their stories to bridge gaps in the presentation of POC stories.
